Ascot Studios was originally built while John Lennon and Yoko One lived at Tittenhurst Park. The house was sold to Ringo Starr in late 1973 as John and Yoko Had made a more permanent base in New York. Ringo renamed the recording Studios to Startling Studios and opened them up for the public to use.
